What's the worst cigar you have ever smoked?

In this topic, I suggest talking ONLY about (at least purportedly) 100% tobacco and hand rolled.I noticed that everybody is talking only about the best cigar/cigarette and so on but to have a best there must be a worst. Moreover, I think it would be helpful, in this way we can find out what we should NOT try under any circumstances.

So let me begin. Not so long ago I decided to try something new and here what I found: Cremosa Cubana. I bought a bundle of 20 for $15 (good thing I didn’t bought a bigger one)Right after I’ve seen what is all about this “Cubana” I’ve said to myself “I need to let other people know about this). I’ve opened the pack and the pre light aroma reminded me of that smell of a wet dog. I’m pretty sure everybody knows this smell. So I would call it not the “pre light aroma” but the ‘pre light scent”. After I cut the head I noticed a slight unraveling and I corrected it by licking. The taste was very nasty. I understand that I wasn’t licking a candy but that was really awful. Perhaps like that wet dog.

The burn was political - all down one side or the other – not something I am getting on a regular basis with my pref cigars. I tried to correct but didnt want to put my tongue on any other part of the stick so I decided to leave it like that. I’ve started to notice something strange but as I smoked approximately 1/2 of it, the cigar actually looked embarrassed - each side of the cigar was having little flaps curling out like that wet dog hair. I’ve smoked liiiiiittle more than 1/2 and it started to tunnel and almost burned my lips – it was almost impossible to smoke it further.I just could not continue smoking it anymore – I extinguished that “cigar” and threw away the ramining other 19. I’ve never seen something like that before, I don’t even imagine someone calling these cigars as being “the best”. My recommendation – avoid it!

So, what’s your “unlucky cigar”?

You’ve made the best review

You’ve made the best review out there I have ever read :D I guess I never will try Cremosa Cubano after such a review. Anyway, you shouldn’t have threw them away, you should have sent them back to where you’ve ordered them. Or, perhaps, it was just something wrong with them, too old or I don’t know, or maybe a dog licked them :D. Lucky me I haven’t ever tried (yet) a hand rolled cigar that would taste as awful enough to throw them away. I know for sure that I’ve smoked cigars I don’t really liked but I don’t remember their name. Anyway, they wasn’t as bad to remember, happily no dog scent :D I really hope that I will never have one and I wish you not to find others as bad as those one, hahaha.

Hahaha, as previous poster,

Hahaha, as previous poster, I’ve never tried Cremosa Cubana and after all said about it, I also doubt that I ever will. Anyway, after I’ve seen the title of your thread immediately I’ve developed a wish to add 2 other brand of cigars in the list of “the worst ever smoked”. As I can remember, I’ve smoked some other bad tasting cigars, but at least they were “smokeable”, the following 2 were impossible: an Acid Pimp Stick cigar and the other one is Hugo Cassar Mexican cigar. I cannot say precisely which of them was worse if we talk only about their taste. As I remember, both of them were really horrible, similar tasting. There is only one point that IMO makes Pimp Stick very little over the Hugo: it only looked better, in fact, it looked very good... However, the taste was far away from the way it looked. Smoking both of these cigars I thought that they never put tobacco there but some grass that was cut and left to dry and then mixed with diesel fuel and left again for a year and then rolled into those cigars and sold. I could not smoke any of them until the end. I purchased only 2 of the Pimp Sticks. The one I smoked and the other one which both were immediately thrown away. With those was just a waste of money – I’ve seen an Ad about them in a club I am often visiting. I was really curious. I thought they must be something good. Didn’t expected that they would be such a garbage. I purchased 36 of them! The remained 35 gave them to a homeless man who said that loves it after smoking one. Hahaha, good for him.

Ummm, I don’t really know

Ummm, I don’t really know what is the worst cigar I have ever smoked. I just remember that it really tasted like crap, it was so bad that I could not finish that cigar. Usually I never leave a cigar like that, but I had some of them really awful. When smoking them they remember me about cat urine, lol. Oh no, I have never tasted how it is cat urine, lol :D but I know exactly what it smells like because I have 2 cats home (my wife adores them). Sorry guys I don’t really remember their name so you might get them too and now it is my fault. However, it is definitely not any of the 3 you have described up there (Acid Pimp Stick, Hugo Cassar Mexican or Cremosa Cuba). So, you have to be aware :D because there are other shitty tasting cigars)) by the way, I have never smoked any of those 3 you have described. I guess I never will, but some time ago I was thinking to purchase some of Cremosa Cubana. Thanks God I never did it. if I will remember the name of those horrible tasting and cat urine smelling cigars I would let you know.

imeugene, in my opinion this is a very good thread you have started. I agree with you that in this way we can find out what cigars we should never try. We could call it a money saver thread, lol.
