What was your first cigarette, do you remember?

Hey, yesterday I was thinking about why I started to smoke and I remembered my first cigarette. Do somebody remember what your first cig was? I remember that I was with my friend and he told me that I have to try Kool Mild. I didn’t like it at all but I think I will never forget the taste of this cigarette. I decided to ask here if there are other people that can remember their first cig. I asked about this some of my friends and also my father but the biggest part of them did not remember this. What about you? What was your first cigarette?

My first cigarette was West.

My first cigarette was West. I remember very well. I first smoked when I was in school and I was the last one to start smoking from all my friends. They all were smoking and I was feeling lonely. I was feeling like I'm doing wrong that I'm not smoking. So I decided to try one time and then again and again until I didn't realize that I'm smoking. I remember that my first cigarette was West because all my friends were smoking them and that one day we were talking why these cigarettes are called so and that perhaps they are original somewhere from west :D Those were times. Now I'm smoking mostly only Lucky Strikes and sometimes Montecristo, rarely I'm smoking cigars too. I guess that's it :) Hope you've got what you wanted :)

On this site - on another

On this site - on another forum post, I've already told this story that I've first smoked when I was 16 yrs old. I first smoked Camel and I still do it. I really like them. Camel 4ever!! I've never tried either Marlboro neither other brand of cigarettes. However, I'm sure that I don't need to, that's because I've heard many bad opinions upon Marlboro for example but none upon Camel.

Did someone felt guilty for what he/she has done? I was in that situation. The next day I barely could look in my father's eyes (btw he's not smoking).

Hello there everyone. I would

Hello there everyone. I would like to say that you have started a really interesting topic. I don't really remember what my first cigarette was, I just remember the way I smoked it and I can't believe that it happened to me :D

I was around 10-12 years old when I first put a cigarette in my mouth (even though I remember that I swore I would never smoke when I was a little kid). I was out with my ex best friend (he is now in another country so the relationship between us is much weaker than it was before) and we were playing around. Our parents had party that night at my house and we had many guests. One man (I really cannot remember who was he) smoked half a cigarette and threw it away. We were young and foolish and instantly we were hit by the idea of trying to smoke. We sneaked behind my house, picked up that half smoked but still burning cigarette and tried to smoke it. Of course, we did not "smoked" it. I remember I just put it in my mouth and took one drag without inhaling it. I started all to cough and to feel dizzy. I also do not remember if we "smoked" that entire cigarette but I really doubt about that. Perhaps each of us took one drag, badly coughs, and threw it away. :D I have not tried to smoke some good years after that.

My next cigarette was when I was 14 years. My cousin, which I haven't seen for a really long time, came into my city and obviously she was smoking. I was trying to impress one girl I liked (she was 2 years older than me) and I've asked one cigarette from my cousin. I remember how ashamed I was when they all started to laugh at me when I was trying to smoke but I wasn't inhaling. Later, after one lesson of "how to smoke a cigarette" with my cousin, my smoking life begun. Soooo, that's it :D
