Someone is doing homemade atty?

I'm trying to give some ideas for the most bare bones set up I can do to produce more vapor (more vapor –more fun and it’s more enjoyable, I guess everyone knows it).So, I'm thinking about if I can find here anybody who has built an atty and what to talk about it. Currently, I have in my mind a dripper, but I would want to see everything I can find or at least anything I can find. I’m truly curious and I really don’t care if you’re a beginner or no, I just want to learn and to see yours. Don’t get me wrong I am not really searching for machined work, but if you have some you can feel free to describe it or to show it, that would be good too. Anything crude, stripped down, but works? In general, now I'm trying to understand and to make a home spun hybrid. I want to make every part myself expect the battery and the kanthal. I am not very sure yet how much luck I will have and whether it will be good enough but I am going to try. Who knows? Maybe it will be a really good one.

sorry man but… i was thinking

sorry man but… i was thinking about the same idea some time ago, but then i realized that it was absolutely impractical because when i was thinking a bit more about it i understood that it will cost significantly more than just simply going and buying a cheap clone. i really don’t want you to discourage or something like that, i don’t want to offend you or anything, i’m just telling you my thoughts upon this because i was also thinking about it. yes, you can do it if you have in mind some new beautiful design concept that is impossible to do through modification of some mass produced atty. or you could also do it only for your satisfaction, if you enjoy doing it and spending your time with it then it’s ok, otherwise I don’t see any reasons. my thoughts are that there is no reason in reinventing a 10 bucks wheel and i won’t recommend it, but in the end it’s only up to you and you decide. when i thought a little bit more i understood that indeed there isn't any practical or financial reason to make an atty from the scratch. yes indeed, if you would give me a battery, some kanthal, a knife, an apple and some wire could try to do a good vapor and vape that apple completely, but i’m sorry i don’t see any reasons why i should do it? if you will try doing it anyway, i wish you good luck and i hope that i’m wrong!

If there’s the question why

If there’s the question why would I spend my days just working on a 3’ 1960’s west bend in order to make a clone that I just could go and buy a clone? The answer is very and very simple: that’s because I can do that! I guess the reason is the same I made bipod extensions, or is the same reason that I’m making receivers from blanks and exactly the same reason I made a plumb bob when I could go to the hardware store and spend $.

People are paying a premium price for those reinvented wheels all when it comes to the electronic cigarettes. It is very simple. When there’s something that costs almost nothing when it comes to make it with tools then I already have apprx. $200. And I might no pay for my spent time but for the more tools I want to get or something. I do understand that there are some of us that would rather spend more money instead of spending their time, or they just don’t wanna do something like this. Or I don’t really know the reason because I’ve never asked for him. But I want to do it. I find it enjoyable. It’s fun. It’s interesting and especially that feeling of satisfaction when you’re finishing something. That is why I’m now planning on an RDA. After I’ll do it I’m going to try out to fit a gennie in a VTR. I’ll just have to get around a order for some tools and stainless.
